Farm Day

Farm Day

Alternate Title: Turning our yard into a jungle!

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening All!

We are gathered here today for a little walk through my gardens to see what nature with a little help from me has brought forth!

And away we go…

Starting with our harvest. Check out these yellow herb dicks!

The plant was almost completely sideways, it was time to bring them in

In the front yard, the mulberries are ripening again

Have you heard of ground cherries?

Ground cherries are a type of fruit that are native to the Americas and are part of the nightshade family. They are also called cape gooseberries and are related to tomatillos.

Ground cherries are low in calories but high in nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals. They can be eaten raw, sliced into salads or salsas, or cooked into pies, jams, chutneys, and sauces

The Cuban peppers are starting to turn red. Told ya, green peppers are just not ripe. Peppers all turn colors when they’re ripe. 😛

The clitoria still has not flowered but looks at it bush out!

Look at how big this loofah (luffa) is!

And finally, this is what happens when you allow papayas to drop. New plants will just pop up 😂
