Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening Friends!
We are gathered here today to take a little walk through our gardens
Let’s start in the front yard where I wanted my friend to see that her red velvet sunflowers have started blooming. This just opened for the first time today!

Moving to the backyard….
All hail Clitoria! she has brought us blooms once again. I’m going to try growing the cultivar of this that bartenders use. The drink color changes under acid.

The hibiscus is really showing out

Zinnias are looking amazing!

The dahlia is perhaps my prettiest flower this year; she’s really showing her stuff!

This year is a story of tomatoes. So many tomatoes
Like these:

And this mortgage lifter

And, of course, there are the cherry tomatoes
(Trust, there are more)

The huckleberries are getting ripe. I can’t wait to try them.
I am aware that many huckleberries are poisonous. These seeds were purchased from a reputable supplier, and are what’s known as a garden huckleberry. They are edible.
Has anyone ever eaten a huckleberry?
(Anyone else suddenly struggling to get Val Kilmer’s portrayal of Doc Holiday in Tombstone out of their head? “I’m your huckleberry “. Just me? Cool)

Finally, remember the little video I made showing how to get a loofah sponge and I said, the seeds will pop up when they’re ready?
They’re ready

Thank you for joining me on this tour of our gardens.
Happy Farm Day!
