Hi all!
I know it’s been a bit since I checked in, but as I said in my Orlando Science Center post, we have had a friend in town from Michigan. He wanted to do touristy things, and tourist things we did. As you saw the other day, I became a Butterfly Princess/Queen at Lukas Nursery in Oviedo. (Nick and I are headed back there this weekend, I heard a whole lot of Florida Native flowers begging me to take them home while I was there. LOL.)
I thought of trying to do this chronologically, but frankly I’m struggling to remember which day we did what. Holy crap, were we busy running here and there! Today, I will cover the movies we saw, and putt putt. Later this week, I’ll figure out what to talk about next.
In terms of the movies, the very first thing I want to say is: Do not, I repeat, do not go to a 4DX movie showing unless you want to be whipped around a whole lot and possibly get whiplash. I didn’t mind the wind, fog, smells, or mist on my face. However, being thrown to and fro in a chair took me out of the movie far too many times, and killed my back! I had to start sitting forward to lessen the impact.
In order, we saw:
Bugonia: Definite recommend if you like “messed up” movies that keep you guessing.
Predator: Badlands: Surprisingly good. Different from your typical Predator movie.
Running Man: Decent but we are talking a remake here.
First, we went to Gator Golf. Florida is proud of the fact that we have alligators and we mayhaps focus on them a bit much in Orlando for the tourists. Most local putt putt places have gators of some sort. Totally not kidding here.
Anyone who has known me a long time, is aware I love love. Meet my newest love. 😆

Here’s some gators because I can’t put up alligator facts without showing you actual alligators, now can I?

Here’s Pete, our friend, being put in a headlock by an alligator. LOL

Next, we went to Congo River Golf
Where I’m looking sporty, and imagine dad being proud that I’m “golfing”. 😆

Here’s a picture of me in front of the waterfall, too.

Hope everyone has been having a great week!
