There really is no simple way to categorize these. I don’t want to be doing posts about this trip until the end of the year. So, I’m mashing things together.
First let’s talk about the food. Dear lord, people, did we eat well while he was here. We even tried a few new restaurants that I had never been to, even though they’d been open a while.
Our favorite breakfast place was definitely Hash House a Go Go.

They had this tractor right in the foyer of the restaurant.

All their food was good, nothing I ate was bad. This was a banana latte our friend got the first day.

Here was my breakfast. They make those biscuits homemade every morning, and that apple butter? Also homemade. My eyes were rolling as I ate. So freaking good. PS: This whole plate? $10.

Here’s a picture of me and the guys at Hash House. They had a photographer there every time we went, and the place was always packed with a waiting list

Another favorite was the taco truck that is within walking distance of my house. (Three dollar homemade tacos, people) We literally went there four times. Ha! In fairness, their Birria Tacos are to die for, and the PizzaBirria? (Birria Beef and Cheese sandwiched between two large tortilla shells, covered in onions and cilantro cut like a pizza) Heavenly.

We went to Chuy’s, my favorite Tex Mex restaurant once. I only got pics of the chips and salsa. Look, sometimes you’re hungry and you’re not thinking of taking pics of your food.

We also went to the new All You Can Eat Korean Barbeque place that just opened a few weeks ago. That was sooooo good. I stuffed my damn self.

I did cook, some, but nobody wants to see pictures of my boring pasta sauce; or grilled chicken with roasted broccoli.
That’s going to conclude this post. If I whet your appetite: You all know how to find me! I’m just an email away if you’re ever in Orlando.
Happy Friday!
