Chocolate Museum

Chocolate Museum

One of the last things we did while our friend Pete was in town was to go to the Chocolate Museum. This is going to be a picture heavy post due to the sheer amount there was to see!

We got a Golden Ticket!

It all starts in the Chocolate Bar Room. The wrappers are empty, but some of these bars date back over a hundred years and come from all over the world.

Now for the sculptures:

Clown Sculpture

These are all made with Baker’s Chocolate, not something you want to eat.

Taj Mahal
Great Wall of China
Acropolis of Athens
Eiffel Tower
Easter Island Stone Statues
Windmill
Ek-Chuah. Mayan God of Cocoa
Neuschwanstein Castle
Abu Simbel Temples
Japanese Pagoda and Geisha
St Basil’s Cathedral
Mt Rushmore
Venice
Elizabeth Tower/Big Ben
Christopher Columbus
Andy Warhol
Thomas Edison
Neil Armstrong
Ballerina
Me with the Statue of Liberty

They gave us tasting chocolate at the end of the tour that I didn’t take a picture of, but they also gave us Hot Chocolate that was divine in these little teeny cups.

Hot Chocolate

Of course I bought some super expensive chocolate. When in Rome…

We had a great time at the Chocolate Museum learning about all the different types of Cocoa Pods and how the “Chocolate Craze” began. If you’re ever in Orlando, I can’t recommend doing this enough. Educational and tasty!

Happy Tuesday!

They’re all great, but I’m partial to the Abu Simbel one. I’m an ancient history geek 😊

BAM here. That sounds like a brilliant museum to visit. I hope there were some British chocolate wrappers on display and, even better, some Belgian and Swiss chocolate wrappers.

Those are all pretty amazing. It would be fun to tour a chocolate factory and be able to taste the different kinds they make….

They did an excellent job, pretty sure it was more than one person who did them all if I remember correctly.
