Many years ago, when I first started this series, I did it on Fridays. That became too rigid for me, often the garden doesn’t change a whole lot from week to week and I loathe showing showing the same plants again and again. However, it has been a while since you’ve all seen the garden and there’s lots to see.
Let’s start in the front yard, today. Next blog post will be the back.
One of our bananas have bloomed! As you can see, by December, we should have lots of bananas in our house, once again. For those who are unaware, bananas are actually an herb. They are not a tree.

Next up, I wanted to show you how my manhole cover decoration has been coming along. You can see there are lots of flowers to cover that unsightly mess. Buttercups, pentas, salvia, guara, and the Canna Lilies are doing their job and feeding the pollinators.

I’ve expanded the area out, and added some new flowers. Here are a red Hibiscus and Purple Mums.

So they wouldn’t be so lonely, I also got some Red Mums

Of course, I didn’t want the Red Hibiscus out there by itself, so I got a peach one to go with it.

Next up is red Dianthus barbatus, aka Sweet William

And, here we have a purple Michaelmas Daisy

Next up is our Plumbago blooming so stunningly in the Florida sunshine

The last of the flowers I wanted to show you is this Orange Firecracker, isn’t it awesome?

And, lastly, I’m going to show you our two Mulberry “bushes”.

And, here’s the new one I started growing this summer from a cutting of the old bush.

Thank you all for joining me on this tour of our front yard garden. Stay tuned for the backyard soon!!!!
