Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening All!
We are gathered here today for a little walk through my gardens to see what nature with a little help from me has brought forth!
And away we go…
Starting in the front yard, check out this butterfly frequenting our Pentas. Isn’t it gorgeous? The giant swallowtail is the largest butterfly in North America.

Guess what? We have a new banana flower and I caught it early before it completely bloomed!

The mandevilla (rock trumpet) is blooming again!

This is buttercup or sage rose. I rescued it from the plant rescue. (That’s what I call the big box garden center. 😂)

The neighbor went out of town and left me in charge of his chickens! 😀 I have already purchased chicken toys; chicken treats; and a feeder/waterer (Waterer you see pictured. Animals are my biggest weakness.)
He and I have already discussed giving them more room. Nick and I are going to the big box hardware store to purchase what’s needed to do that while he’s gone.
I’ll post pics once it’s done.

Moving to the backyard, I must show you the passion fruit flower.

We have a new loofah and it’s flowering!

The clitoria still has not flowered, and then there was what will forever be known as “the incident “.
Nick was trying to be helpful and pull weeds. I was planting carrots, not watching.
Well let’s just say he started pulling the clitoria.
I looked up and…
“Noooooooooooo…..not that, I’ve been growing that for two years!”
Poor Nick looked crushed, defeated.
I had to take a moment to collect myself before I walked over to assess the damage. Thankfully, I caught him before he pulled the entire plant, there’s still lots of foliage all over the ground.

The Monstera @CuriousHer sent is growing big!

Finally, the red bell peppers have finally started blooming!

Thank you for joining me on this tour of our gardens.
Happy Friday at Farm Day!
